Where do you come from?

Saintfield, Northern Ireland originally. It’s famous for having some scenes of Game of Thrones filmed in it, once being the site of a bloody battle way back when, and possibly becoming the home of Belfast-born boxer Carl “The Jackal” Frampton.

 

Where do you live now?

I currently live in Stoneclough, Greater Manchester, having shifted over from Eccles a few months back.

 

What took you to Stoneclough?

Well I had originally gone to University at Liverpool Hope, studying Primary Education with Music. I then found work in Manchester, which meant moving to somewhere close yet affordable. Hence, I moved to Eccles. After dealing with awful damp issues for the best part of 2 years, it came time for a move to an affordable and really-quite-nice flat in Stoneclough.

 

Are there any other perks to living in Stoneclough?

Funny you should mention it, yes. My girlfriend, Ffion, lives close by. She’s lovely.

 

What do you do for work?

I currently work in Recruitment, as an IT Delivery Consultant for Search Consultancy in Manchester. Rest assured my opinions are very much my own.

 

What do you do in your spare time?

Oh, lots of things. I spend time with my girlfriend, of course. But hobbies alongside that include watching any sport that’s available to watch (much to her annoyance), writing posts for this blog, reading novels, listening to music, learning the words to Blackout Crew songs, and I’ve recently started doing a bit of writing for other sites too, including The Daily Touch. (Not so) Secretly, I harbour dreams of being, at least, a professional darts player, if not the World Champion.

 

What do you write about?

Anything and everything really. I thought about making a niche blog, but I get the urge to write about too many things to focus on one particular topic. So I decided to go down the road of eclecticism.
